Consultation requests and appointments

Bright Energy Collective Corp collects the contact and home information you submit to help respond to your request. This can include your name, phone number, email, address, energy interests, and details you choose to provide. Your request and contact consent are stored in Bright Energy’s private lead database and sent to DialEcho, which our team uses to manage leads, calls, and appointments. If DialEcho cannot accept a request, the Bright Energy record remains available so our team can follow up.

If you choose a booking flow, your details are saved when you submit the first step so our team can follow up if you do not finish choosing a time. A booking is confirmed only after the calendar accepts it. A utility bill submitted in the booking flow is stored privately with your lead in DialEcho for your specialist to review; it is separate from the calculator’s bill reader described below.

Address suggestions, when available, are provided by Google Places. Typing in the address search sends that search to Google. You can enter your address manually instead.

Advertising measurement

Across our public website, Meta Pixel measures page visits and successfully saved consultation requests. Meta’s Conversions API also reports saved requests from our server. Matching event identifiers let Meta combine browser and server reports of the same request. We share hashed contact identifiers (such as phone and email), name and ZIP, along with IP address, browser information and advertising cookie identifiers, to help Meta match requests to ads. Hashing does not make this information anonymous. Form notes, street addresses and utility bills are not sent to Meta.

You can turn off advertising measurement for this browser below. We also honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. Your consultation request works either way. Advertising tracking does not run on the calculator, financing application or staff tools.

What this tool is

This calculator is a live demonstration tool used during an energy consultation. It shows estimated costs and savings based on the numbers entered during the conversation.

Calculator inputs

The rates, usage figures, and payments you see on screen live in your browser for the duration of the session. They are not saved to a database, not tied to an account, and they disappear when the page is closed.

Uploaded utility bills

When a bill photo or PDF is uploaded through “Scan a bill,” it is sent to our server and forwarded to Anthropic’s API, where an AI model reads the printed figures (utility name, rates, kilowatt-hours, bill amount). The extracted numbers are returned for review before anything is applied.

This application does not store the uploaded file or the extracted data; neither is written to a database or kept after the request completes. The upload is processed by Anthropic under their commercial terms, which do not use submitted data to train models.

Bills contain personal information (name, address, account number). Only the printed figures listed above are extracted; if you prefer, you can always skip the upload and type the numbers in manually.

Tracking

Our public marketing pages use PostHog to understand visits, form completion, bookings, and the performance of different page versions. First-party browser identifiers keep your experiment version consistent and connect events across visits. The visitor identifier lasts up to 90 days and the session identifier lasts 30 minutes; these cookie lifetimes are separate from the history held in analytics.

Events include the page version, actions taken, campaign labels, and an internal lead reference for matching outcomes. We do not send your name, phone number, email address, street address, free-text answers, or utility bill to PostHog. PostHog uses explicit events without session recording. Private calculator, login, and agreement pages are excluded from this marketing measurement.

When enabled, Microsoft Clarity helps us improve these public pages through session recordings, heatmaps, and interaction metrics such as clicks and scrolling. Clarity collects website usage and device data using cookies and other tracking technologies, subject to your browser choices and Clarity’s consent settings. Form and upload areas are masked in recordings. We tag the page and experiment version to compare experiences; we do not send contact details or bill contents as Clarity events or identifiers.

We honor supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. You can also turn off website analytics for this browser below. Standard web-server logs are kept by our hosting provider for security and operations.
